The OC-NET core team contributed to key sessions on marine knowledge, innovation, and community engagement for ocean sustainability.

The core team of Ocean Cities Network (OC-NET) took part in the European Ocean Days, contributing to discussions on the future of the ocean and the role of coastal cities in advancing ocean sustainability.
During the week, the team participated in several key sessions, including Marine Knowledge for Ocean Health, the 2nd Stakeholder Consultation for the European Ocean Research and Innovation Strategy, Together for Change: A Coalition to Empower Communities for Mission Ocean and Waters, and the 4th Mission Ocean and Waters Forum.
These exchanges helped strengthen dialogue with researchers, policymakers, and organisations working towards healthier and more resilient oceans.
Ocean Cities Network is an endorsed programme of the United Nations Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and brings together coastal cities committed to sustainability, marine ecosystem regeneration, and stronger connections between cities and the ocean.
