Calls
Calls for actions will support the participating partners and engage other citizen and stakeholder actors
This support will be through projects that address one or more of the Ocean Decade challenges, which will extend through time over periods from 1 to 3 years, and activities that will underscore these projects, usually lasting from one day to a few weeks.
Actions supported by the programme should stem from participatory actions as responses of collective needs in the framework of the sustainable ocean cities management. The ultimate goal is to foster that citizens will participate together with researchers and other stakeholders in OC-NET.
Calls will be issued periodically in coordination with the UNESCO main office and the regional collaboration centres.
